time for a treat, April 3
Good behavior at the doctors office means a treat!
And what could be tastier (or more fun to watch them eat) than a Starbucks Pup Cup - Yummie!
Off we go - again, april 3
Another trip to the vet today, this time for Aria's F1b Cockapoo puppy litter.
Dr. Tsoukalas performed thorough examinations - and am pleased to report - Phoebe, Osprey, Robin, Finch, Wren, Chickadee, Puffin, Magpie and Noddy all received their NH Health Certificates and are officially cleared to join their fur-ever homes this weekend!
Everyone got spunked up once exams were over and we waited for paperwork to be completed. Silly puppies! 💙🐾❤️
Let's go meet some new friends, April 2
Aria's adorable litter of F1b Cockapoo puppies head to their fur-ever homes this weekend!
We continue to work on socialization and enrichment - today's adventure - meeting new friends - people and farm animals (goats, bunnies, chickens and 2 Great Pyrenees (at a distance of course).

Exciting Weekend, March 24
This past weekend Aria's F1b Cockapoo puppies were able to add a few more experiences to their "reference library".
Saturday, 9 wonderful families came - braving the winter storm and slick roads - to meet their fur-ever pups! Their dedication to make this appointment, to meet us and their pup, reasures me that the homes and families our pups are going to are loving, devoted people I feel blessed to have as part of our CHC family.
At 6 (almost 7 weeks) personalities continue to emerge. Our efforts to help develop each pup into a beloved and reliable fur-family member also continues, and we work to build confidence, motivation and drive while desensitizing sight and sound sensitivities. Aria's pups are resilient, go-with-the-flow pups happily (always tail wagging) eager to try new things with us by their side, cheering them on.
Saturday's snow and ice storm (hey, this is spring in New England), lent to a beautiful backdrop for our next photo shoot - outdoors of course.

4 week photo shoot, March 10
Aria's litter of F1b Cockapoo puppies are 4 weeks! Adorable as they are fun they've entered the first week of the Socialization Period (typcially weeks 3-12).
This is the most significant stage relative to social behavior model and learning.
Pups show interest in people and begin to approach and interact - and why the who and how (that interation takes place) must be positive - rewarding them with positive touch and encouraging words to help prevent fearfulness of people as the puppy grows. They are also learning through play with each other (bite inhibition, social hierachies, social cues, etc).
Daily handling, weight tracking and exposure activities continue. Our focus for their socialization, is to keep it:
-
Low-stress
-
Short
-
Positive

Cuteness x 9, February 19
Aria did an amazing job delivering her litter! All 9 F1b Cockapoo puppies arrived safely and momma is caring for their every need. No shortage of milk (momma has great supply), her little ones are nursing and gaining weight and strength.
Tyler considers Ari to be his doggie, so he asked to take lead on the care of this litter. That also means, he gets to choose the name theme. He landed on "Birds of the World". So, welcome to the world:

Pre-labor has begun, February 7
Estimated due date is tomorrow, but pre-labor signs have begun.
X-ray shows Aria has a full belly of babes, which can often mean going a bit "early".
We stick close to our girl, keeping her calm and offering support (with love and quiet space for her to rest and nest).
Ultrasound x3, January 3
It's a group outing today as we had to Broadview for ultrasound checks. With Aria, Charlotte Ann and Eevee due within days of eachother we were able to make one appointment with Dr. Kelleher to see if our mommas are expecting.
We were thrilled to hear our sweet girl is pregnant and beyond excited to welcome these little ones in just a short time.
